Registration

Here you can apply for PORGMUN 2015 Conference. The guide to filling out the registration form correctly can be found here. PORGMUN will take place on March 19th – 22nd and is open to all high-school students between 14-20 years of age.

Basic info

Registration to PORGMUN is done via TakePlace registration system. Each group of participants (delegation) is to be registered by their supervisor. Delegation supervisor should be an employee of the participants’ school. A delegation is formed by 8-9 students representing a chosen country in the eight PORGMUN committees + Security Council (some countries only).

Registration Requirements

All participants should be proficient in English and able to take part in the debates. Furthermore, each foreign school is to send at least one teacher or other school employee to accompany students. The supervisor should be present during the conference. For Czech schools a written consent of a teacher is required. Should the teacher be unable to attend the conference themselves, they are to designate a student to lead the delegation. We reserve the right to inform the consenting teachers about their students’ participation.

Participant’s Fee

PORGMUN is a non-profit project dependent mainly on donations. As such, we are proud to feature a low participant’s fee of 20 Euros. This includes complete catering at the conference site including three lunches and multiple coffee/cookie breaks, all printing costs, a welcome package for each delegate, the entire social program and much, much more! This deal is available until January 31^st. Afterwards, due to logistic reasons, the fee will be increased to 25 Euros.

Teachers

Accompanying teachers will also be provided with all catering services and will have unrestricted access to committees. For each delegation, we will accept one accompanying teacher for free. Should there be multiple accompanying teachers for a single delegation, the second and any further teacher will be charged an amount equal to the participants’ fee.

Payments are to be sent within 14 days after registering. Not doing so may eventually lead to cancellation of registration.

Further Conference Cost

PORGMUN offers full service for your stay in Prague. We offer accommodation at Exe Iris Hotel**** for a special conference price of 15 Euro per person per night. For 8 Euro, you can also purchase a discounted Prague Integrated Transport ticket for the entire duration of the conference (4 days).

There is additional 1 Eur fee per delegate due to bank account payment fee.

Acquiring Visa

If you are a non-EU passport holder, you may need a visa to get into the Czech Republic. The list of non-EU states whose citizens are exempt from the visa requirement can be found here.
